This article explains how to locate the model number on BLACK + DECKER chargers and batteries.

For charging stands you can find the six-digit date code at the bottom of the unit. This information can be engraved or printed directly on the plastic. For other corded chargers, you can find the six-digit date code engraved on the power plug housing under the prongs. 

For batteries, you can find the date code at the bottom of the unit, printed or engraved directly on the plastic housing. It's six digits long and has a date format.
