The S600 and S700 both have an under water submersion rating of IPX7, which states a submersion depth of up to 36 inches (1 meter) and a time limit of up to 30 minutes.

When submerging either of these units it is important to ensure that the charging port plug on the end of the handle is properly inserted and not worn in any way. If it is not properly inserted or if the rubber has worn away so that it is not making a proper seal this can allow water to leak into the unit.
