STANLEY BLACK + DECKER has an extensive network of service centers to repair damaged or worn products. We accept product returns from our customers and mass merchants. Our products are designed with recycling and reconditioning in mind.
Plastic parts are marked to identify their materials, and fastening systems are chosen to facilitate disassembly at the end of life. Where possible, manufacturing processing waste is reused, and service centers reuse as many components as possible.
All STANLEY BLACK + DECKER service centers will accept tools that have reached their end of life in an effort to divert our products away from landfills. Products are either repaired for sale as reconditioned product or separated into components for recycling, as shown in the table below:

I contacted you sometime ago to alert you to a flaw in water kettle. The inside bottom was shedding coating into water as it boiled. I have a stainless steel one now. Concern for consumption of coatings mixing into boiled water. FYI
