If the LED light is flashing the driver blade may not have fully returned. This can be corrected by removing the battery and nails, opening the magazine cover, and pushing the driver blade back (with a screwdriver or metal rod) until only the end is visible.
A fully charged battery should help to reduce this occurrence.
