No, there is no oil reservoir on the Alligator Lopper. Oil applied to the opening on the side of the lopper drops directly onto the chain, it is not stored in a reservoir.

An oil bottle is provided. If you have run out, "bar and chain" oil or SAE30 motor oil is the correct type of oil to use. You can get it at home improvement and hardware stores, or any place that sells gas powered chain saws. Never use vegetable, cooking or other types of oil.

NOTE: The unit should be lubed before first use and once every 10 minutes, depending on speed and type of wood being cut. The oil should be filled by flipping #10 in the illustration up.
