The problem is that I can immobilize the blade with the wood, but the
shaft keeps turning with the nut:

1) Use an impact wrench (air ratchet) to remove the nut.

2) Use a (Crescent) wrench to hold the flat blade spacer, which is keyed to
the shaft, so that the shaft won't turn while the nut is being removed.
