Clean interior filter on stick vac

There are two filters on the Black and Decker Stick vac BHFEA 18. The foam one is removable and washable. How do you clean the interior filter that is not removable?

Hello alan marcus, we appreciate your question and will be more than happy to answer it.
After removing the dust bowl from the vacuum, use your index finger and thumb to pinch the filter housing tabs and pull the filter housing from the dust bowl. Over a trashcan you can shake or lightly brush any loose dust off of the foam filter and filter. Then rinse out the dust bowl with warm soapy water. You may was both filters with warm soapy water. Allow them to dry completely before placing them back on the vacuum.
