How to easily disassemble the 3 part vacuum tube on model LSWV36

Hi Everyone, I hope someone can help me. I have been trying all day to disassemble the vacuum tube on model, because I need to send the unit back in order to get a replacement unit.

There is no information in the manual to how to disassemble the vacuum tube. The info I received from B & D customer service is as follows:

In regard to the disassembly, you would have to depress the notches to disassemble the tube. From the housing, there's also a lock lever that needs to be depressed to separate the housing from the tube. (Where is the lock lever??)

I need to disassemble the vacuum tube by tomorrow in order to ship it back.
