BHFEA520J| Floorsense problem

Hello, I own a Black & Decker BHFEA520J| power series stick vacuum, and the floor sense function keeps causing it to switch between high and low, even on a wooden floor. Not only is it annoying, but it uses up all of the battery power. Help?

  I’m having the same problem as well. How do I over ride this problem to save on battery life ?

  I’m also looking to download the user manual.
