Portable air conditioner leaking a lot of water

I purchased my portable air conditioner a little over a year ago. It worked great last summer but this year just after a week of use, it started to leak from one of the holes. I drained it, cleaned the filter and started it up again however this time, it started to spit water out of the air vent. I called customer service but they were unable to provide any support or solution.

  Thank you for your response! I would really appreciate some help in resolving this issue as the temperatures have risen and a working AC would be great. Thanks
