Vacmop issue

My vacmop was delivered yesterday. I put it on the charger overnight however this morning it wont turn on. When i place it on the charger the battery charging indicator comes on (all the bars are solid green except for the last one which slowly blinks. After a few minutes sitting on the charger the screen is blank (battery indicator is gone) but the thing still wont turn on. The manual is absolutely no help and the website hasnt been any better. Any suggestions?
