Inoperative Black & Decker Hedgetrimmer LHT2436 Type 2

At the start of its second year of use, my B&D Hedgetrimmer LHT2436 Type 2 stopped working, even after trying three charged battery units; I strongly suspect its motor failed.  I called the service department, described my problem and they informed me they're sending a brand new LHT2436 to me at no charge!  I appreciate that very much, but suggest that B &D direct its engineering department to correct the LHT2436's unit's drive-problem, as other reviews have noted the same issue.  Otherwise the product worked very well.
