Cordless handheld vacuum charge indicators flashing rapidly

Hi,

All 3 of our B & D Cordless handheld vacuum (HHVK515JP) charge indicators are simultaneously rapidly blinking and the unit does not appear to be charging.  We've tried all of the usual solutions:  different outlet, made sure the unit is in the off position, re-inserted the plug. Nothing changes the behavior.  It's out of warranty.  

Any ideas on what to try next?

  Corrrection:  this unit was purchased in January 2024 so it should still be under warranty.
