Fitting an HPB18 battery into BDFC240 charger

Just bought a charger for my drill battery but it doesn't just slide fully into the insert to fit snug. Is there a “trick” i need to know or does it just take more force? Battery is HPB18. Charger is BDFC240.

  Hello Richard Riddle,

  Yes, you will need to give it a nice tap or a bit more force. You will hear it click once it makes full contact.
