CM1936Z and the SPCM1936 both have an internal mulch plate built into the mower and an "On Demand" Feature. The mulch plate is not a separate piece on these mowers as it has been on previous models.
The mulch plate on the CM1936 (without the Z) is the typical external mulch plate as with previous models.
