I have a Multi Sander and I cannot fix the base on securely.

The bases on some of our Multi Sanders are interchangeable. The method for fixing is an allen bolt in the centre of the base.

Occasionally the plastic injection moulding process can make the pins on the base slightly oversized. With some wear they will bed in sufficiently to ensure secure attachment to the base. However, in the interim period, press the base on firmly whilst tightening the bolt initially by hand. Use the allen key supplied to tighten the bolt securely.

This should eliminate any problems securing the base.
