The Black & Decker Blower/Vacuum will pick up acorns, and they may harm the unit. Due to an acorn's size, the acorns usually pass through the mulching blade without being shredded depending on the size. Oak, maple, and magnolia leaves can be shredded. Due to the size and thickness of these leaves, they may not be shredded as finely as other leaves. We recommend cleaning the tube frequently when mulching these types of leaves to prevent clogging.
