To wind new line on a single line spool please follow the below steps - Unplug the string trimmer. Remove the empty spool from the spool housing. Remove any remaining cutting line from the spool. Feed 2 cm of cutting line into the hole in the top of the spool as shown in the video. Bend the cutting line and anchor it in the L-shaped slot. Wind the cutting line onto the spool in the direction of the arrow. Make sure to wind the line on neatly and in layers. Do not criss-cross When the wound cutting line reaches the recesses, secure though the slit on the side and feed though the hole so you can store it without it unravelling until you are ready to use it. Warning! Only use the appropriate type of BLACK+DECKER cutting line.
